Marcus Giamatti
Among his television credits are the films The Pirates of Silicon Valley, Path to Paradise and Aftermath: A Test of Love, and the series Flying Blind. He has also guest-starred in Cosby, on CBS, The X-Files, Dream On, Living Single, Homicide: Life on the Street Wild Oats and the daytime drama One Life to Live.
Giamatti is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama, where he received the Carole Dye Award for Excellence in Acting. His extensive theater credits include the Broadway production of The Young Man from Atlanta and Measure for Measure at New York's Lincoln Center. He has also appeared Off Broadway in Italian American Reconciliation, Durang, Durang and Century City and in regional productions of Once in a Lifetime, Macbeth, She Stoops to Conquer, Misalliance, The Miser, Union Boys and Othello. He has also developed new plays at the Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference in Connecticut.
An accomplished musician, Giamatti plays bass guitar in several bands in Los Angeles and New York.
He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and lives in Los Angeles and New York with his wife, actress Kathryn Meisle. His birth date is October 3.
