He is a wonderful actor and writer. His taco bell poem was awesome!

My favorite Esai movie would have to be La BAmba because he did so well and was just the character in it's full!

I have been a fan of Esai Morales since I first saw him in Bad Boys...When he left NYPD Blue, I started to frantically search for news of where to catch Esai...WOW..the more I read, the more impressed I became... We need more people( actors, professional athletes, etc.) in the spotlight to raise awareness and give fans something to real to admire...Thank you Esai, keep giving of yourself...looking forward to seeing what you do next!

I have been truly madly in love with this man for years. He is my all time favorite actor. He is an excellent and incredible actor and his acting ability is very versatile. He really knows how to get into his roles which shows how versatile he is. I think that he should be honored with an lifetime achievement award for being in this industry for long. (but he is still hanging in there!)

I have never written an actor. politician, celebrity in my life. But after reading the wonderful and insightful comments of other Esai Morales fans, I just had to add my feelings. He's clearly a man comfortable in his own shoes, and that quality is manifested in his ability to under-take any role, and run with it. When he departed NYPD Blue, I lost interest in the show. And I think the show's writers missed an opportunity to develop the personal side of Tony Rodriquez more; that aspect of his role really was his best work. His human, caring side was revealed.

Good luck and best wishes.

The first time I had seen Esai was in a film called 'Bad Boys'' back in 93 and I was tripping alittle because he and I look alike. I remember sending a film flyer of Esai and Sean Penn together to my father, and he thought that Esai was me..! Ever since that time, I have follwed his career and have admired what he has done. It has been twenty years, and we still look the same.'' Whats amazing, we are the same age too..! About 10 years ago, a friend of mine ran into Esai at a club in San Francisco , and told him about me. Esai autographed a piece of paper saying, To Loren, Whats up bro,'' Thanks for keeping my name out of trouble..! I have and always want to meet this guy. All the best to you Esai..''

Esai's life is a true American story. It shows that he has a true sense of faith in himself by going after his dream no matter what. Great sense of character and determination. I love what he stands for. His acting is superb. I wish there were more movies and shows that he could be on. (As if he's not busy enough these days!) His looks are super terrific also!
How could I meet him?

I truly love his work and appreciate the efforts he has made and his overall contributions to the Latino communities in general. My son is Mexican American & by the time he is an adult I hope that Esai's abilities are just as valid then. Thanks for your article.
