Misa Shimizu
Born in Tokyo in 1970, Misa Shimizu made her film debut in SHONAN BAKUSOZOKU in 1987 and has since appeared in various films, television programs, and commercials. Her work for Shochiku has included BAKA YARO 3, NETAI RAKUEN KURABU, and THE EEL. In 1991, she won a Best New Performer Award for her role in INAMURA JANE at the 14 th Annual Japanese Academy awards. In 1992, she received various awards for her roles in OKOGE, SHIKOFUNJYATTA, and MIRAI NO OMOIDE. Shimizu was also awarded a Broadcasting Cultural Fund acting award for her performances in the 1996 television dramas Namida Tataete Bisho Seyo, and Hyaku Nen No Otoko. She also won a Galaxy Acting Award for her performance in Tsuki No Fune.
