A native of Denver, Colorado, Joshua Ackerman moved to Orlando, Florida at a young age to star on Disney's The New Mickey Mouse Club. After performing for seven straight seasons, he took a hiatus from acting to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he graduated with a BFA in Film and Television. Upon completion of his studies, Josh moved to Los Angeles with a renewed passion to pursue his acting roots. Over the past two years, he has appeared in such films as Evolution, directed by Ivan Reitman; Pearl Harbor, directed by Michael Bay; and the independent feature The Painting.
Josh is currently starring in the upcoming UPN/Paramount series, Random Years.
