Kasey Hallo

Born and raised in New Orleans, Kasey Hallo is a veteran of film, television and stage. Audiences will see Kasey battling a hybrid 30ft African King Cobra/Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake in King Cobra to be released by Trimark Pictures in 1999. King Cobra will be premiering docu-drama which chronicles teenage pregnancy in Los Angeles, produced by Independent Women Artists. Film credits also include leads in the acclaimed adaptation of Fydor Dostoevsky Notes from the Underground and Blues in the Night. Television credits include the co-starring role in Darkman the television pilot.

While studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, Kasey starred in Off-Broadway productions of Ladies At The Alamo, and Elliot Loves.

An accomplished mezzo-soprano, Kasey has performed in many Cabaret shows, as well as starred in musicals including The Fantasticks, The Sound Of Music, and Evita. Kasey performs regularly with numerous R&B and Jazz bands and has performed with Harry Connick Jr.

One of Kasey's favorite roles is that of ‘Mom' starring opposite her 5 _ year old son, Paris Ford. While juggling a busy career and home life, Kasey enjoys spending time doing yoga, pilates, and jet-skiing down the bayou in her hometown of Louisiana. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Kasey is preparing to create the lead character of Monica in David and Scott Hillenbrand's upcoming feature film Piñata scheduled to begin shooting in May 1999.
