Biography #2 (for Haunted)

Russell Hornsby co-stars in the new UPN drama HAUNTED as the level-headed police detective Marcus Bradshaw, who supports his former colleague and friend Frank in his quest to solve crimes through supernatural means.

Born and raised in Oakland, Calif., Hornsby later moved to the east coast and earned a bachelor of arts degree in theater at Boston University. Upon graduation, he moved to New York to perform in various theatre productions and moved to Los Angeles to further pursue acting.

His television experience includes a series regular role on Gideon's Crossing as head resident Dr. Aaron Boies, and a powerful role in the original television movie Keep The Faith, Baby. Other film credits include Big Fat Liar and Meet The Parents. On stage, Hornsby appeared as Youngblood in August Wilson's Jitney.

Hornsby is an all-around athlete. Currently, he is unmarried and resides in Los Angeles.
