Sturla Gunnarsson

Sturla Gunnarsson was born in Iceland and raised in Canada where he studied English literature and film production at University. His first feature film, Diplomatic Immunity won the Prix Grande at the Cannes Winter Festival. His highly regarded second feature, Such a Long Journey, was based on the Governor General Award winning and Booker Prize nominated novel by Rohinton Mistry. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
