| by Peter It is hard not to fall in love with Dong Jie. Her portrayal in Happy Times is flawless.. Zhang Yimou set out to make a parable about dignity, honour, altruism, friendship and love. Dong Jie is beautiful beyond belief and enormously talented. Only Zhang has the artistic sense to have noticec all of this.. Mr Dong Jie (if there is one yet..) will be a very lucky man indeed....what I would give to be that man... Comment on this... |
