Simone Elise Girard
Born in Montreal, Canada, Girard started off her career as a classical dancer. She then made her debut in movies and television series, with roles as Johanne, a homeless young mother in Scoop; Svetlana, a Russian spy, in Largo Winch; Angelica, a mermaid, in The Hunger; and Yoko Ono in Sublet. She then landed the lead role of Joan of Arc in 29 mai 1431...la matin, a short film relating the events surrounding the story of Joan of Arc.
Most recently, Girard has been featured in two Canadian movies, Cafe Ole and Sunk: Un soleil dans l'encre noir, in which she starred.
