Biography #2 (for Battlestar Galactica)
Katee Sackhoff starred opposite Richard Dreyfuss and Marcia Gay Harden in the CBS series The Education of Max Bickford, and on the big screen played opposite Jamie Lee Curtis in Dimension Films' Halloween: Resurrection. She has also appeared in such feature films as Christine Lahti's My First Mister. Sackhoff was born and raised in and around Portland, Ore., where she was a competitive swimmer during her school years. At the age of 6, she started participating in dance and drama classes. Upon graduating from high school, Sackhoff moved to Los Angeles. Shortly thereafter she landed the lead role in the MTV pilot Locust Valley and went on to star in the Fox Family Channel series The Fearing Mind. Her other television credits include a recurring role on MTV's Undressed, guest spots on ER; Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane; and Chicken Soup for the Soul, as well as roles in the Lifetime movie Fifteen and Pregnant, with Kirsten Dunst, and the USA Network telefilm Hefner: Unauthorized.

Katee Sackhoff will soon be seen in the feature films Halloween 8, My First Mister and The Glass House.She had the lead role in the MTV pilot Locust Valley. Her television series credits also include a starring role in The Fearing Mind, a recurring role in Undressed and guest appearances in Zoe and Chicken Soup for the Soul. She also had a supporting role in the television film Hefner.
Sackhoff was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where she was a competitive swimmer. Her birthdate is April 8.
