| by Verlyn Davis I am an African American male who, along with overwhelming numbers of black people, have come into African consciences. This awareness stems from childhood but it is only within the last four years through intense research and with the help of Dr. Ray Hagin, the teachings of Dr. Ben, Henry Clarke and countless others WHITE AND BLACK, have we come to fully understand, the African peoples role in the shaping of civilization from mathematics, science, medicine and the theft and re-writing of our religious scriptures and folk tales. We as a people and as a group are growing silently and vocally tired of the misrepresentation or, shall I say, tired of only being shown in movies when it comes to a historical aspect, during times of slavery. Now don't get us wrong, there have been some good movies produced showing our people in a positive light but, the truth about the people of ancient KEMET or Egypt as people know it today needs to be told. In closing, I would just like to say that, every race of people on this planet still have a sense of there history BUT US or, at least most of us don't. This would be the most powerful and yes, controversial movie ever made because, it would uncover all of the deceptions and historical cover ups bestowed upon our people. It would also shed MUCH NEEDED light on the question of, “who am I ". The indigenous people of this world are under attack the truth needs to be told before it's too late.......FOR THE SAKE, PRIDE and MENTAL AWARENESS OF OUR CHILDREN.... I am sending this to every black producer and or director we can find…Thank you and keep up the good work. Comment on this... |

| by andy langenderfer I loved Men of Honor. I think that Mr. Tillman did an exceptional job. I am working on another great film on a special african-american hero - a story that takes place in the same time period as the film - Men of Honor. This story is also a true story and one that overcomes prejudice and is a great inspirational story. If anyone can get me George Tillman's contact info - that would be great. I think he will be excited to discuss this film and the potential it provides. Thanks so much!!! Comment on this... | ||||
