ONE HOUR PHOTO was written and directed by acclaimed music video director Mark Romanek, whose groundbreaking videos for such artists as Madonna, Nine Inch Nails, Fiona Apple, Beck, Lenny Kravitz, Macy Gray, David Bowie, R.E.M., Michael Jackson. Janet Jackson and many others have received numerous awards, including more than a dozen MTV Video Awards, two Grammys and three Billboard Music Awards. Two of Romanek's music videos, Madonna's Bedtime Story and Nine Inch Nails' Closer, have become part of the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art.
In 1997, MTV presented Mark with the prestigious Video Vanguard award honoring his unprecedented achievement in the art of music video. Romanek has also directed TV spots for Calvin Klein, Nike, Philips, and Cirque Du Soleil.
