Murilo Benicio
MURILO BENÍCIO makes his North American film debut in Woman on Top. He is one of Brazil's most popular young film and television stars, and has been featured in several South American motion pictures.
The actor most recently starred in director Sandra Werneck's Amores Possiveis, where he plays two different characters caught in a love triangle. He also has starred in Carlos Diegues' stylish romance Orfeu, set against a backdrop of slums in Rio de Janeiro. He made his feature film debut in the 1995 historical drama O Monge e a Filha do Carrasco.
Benicio is married to actress Alessandra Negrini.
