| by g ...yes, its realy celebration - for peoples in film hall; new, original view and interpretation of our ,,inside" problem, contrast hidden in same word ,,celebration". original view of cameramans, new interpretation of colour's song in frame and lighting by composition of all film. In realy, Thomas Vinterberg - new apperarance of Scandinavian film, from composition of frame to variation of theme; especialy interesting - ,,breaks" of score and the same - psychological dynamic of various personages. | by Anna Aaroe Whitten The local library bought a copy. This was my first introduction to Mr. Vinterberg's work. I am not in the habit of writing about film makers but I have such an exceptional draw to this movie that it makes my family uncomfortable, but they understand. The humor in this film is hard fought and glorious. He tells a story of reserved politeness I thought only existed in our Scandinavian-American families. I love this film. Thank you so very much, Mr. Vinterberg. If this is what comes from the pact that you have made with your fellow film makers, let it be so.
