| by K. J. Kovacs I didn't know of this Eduardo Noriega (Gomez) until recently when a friend insisted that "Abre Los Ojos" was superior to the U.S. version later made & starring Tom Cruise. What a surprise to discover such a mesmerizing & charismatic actor; I've since then seen him in "Transsiberian", "Method", and "Vantage Point", and had the same reaction each time- he is a naturally gifted & skilled actor with a haunting screen presence. His good looks may be an obstacle to his being treated as a serious actor in the U.S., but he can console himself with the awards he receives elsewhere. Look forward to seeing more of his films.
