after finally viewing 102 dalmatians the feature that should have made disney a big windfall. this new wonder director
over at disney cannot direct the likes of brillant actors such as glenn close. maybe we find that when it comes to human beings as the real source, this wonder boy just does'nt fess up. the over all interplay with the live characters was a bit slow, off base, and did'nt ring true.
the film lacked temperment and pace. walt disney must be turning over in his grave with the likes of this off target celluloid
catastrophe. this kevin is over rated.

This movie suffered not from the direction but rather from the plot and script. There are so few sequels that work and the reason is simple. The story line just doesn't extend well.

My grandfather and I used to watch Disney's animal based stories every weekend on "The Wonderful World of Disney". I enjoyed them then because I was a kid! I haven't seen an animal based story I've enjoyed since then. Kevin Lima did a wonderful job to make this poor story worth sitting through.

Having met Kevin on more than one occasion, I can honestly say that with the right backing and the time to create it, Lima could create the next Star Wars phenomenon.
