In addition to starring as David Morales in OUTTA TIME, Mario Lopez also serves as producer on the film. Although widely known for his role as the high school jock, Slater, on the popular NBC comedy series Saved By The Bell, Lopez has developed into one of the fastest rising stars on television and film. He currently co-hosts the NBC Enterprises & Syndication's The Other Half, a daytime talk show for women from the men's point of view. He recently starred in the USA Network series Pacific Blue, portraying police officer Bobby Cruz and impressed critics, garnering two acting nominations, as the gold-medal swimmer Greg Louganis, in the USA Network movie-of-the-week Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story.

Lopez is teaming up once again with Mark Roberts and Lorena David after starring in their critically acclaimed gangster drama, Eastside. OUTTA TIME is Lopez's first time serving as producer.

Born in San Diego, California, Lopez' first professional role was the younger brother on the series A.K.A. Pablo. After his huge success on the Saved By the Bell series, he took his talents to other ventures, including an award-winning host on Name Your Adventure, the NBC movie-of-the-week Kidnapping Mr. Griffin and Showtime's Resurrection Blvd. His film credits include, Eastside, Colors, Depraved and The Journey: Absolution. He has been nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal as Greg Louganis by both the Cable Ace Awards and the American Latino Media Arts Awards. His performance in Pacific Blue also garnered him a Best Acting nomination from ALMA.
