It stars Mark Webber and has won awards at various film festivals as well as being nominated for best first feature in the independent spirit awards, yet I have yet to hear tell of it being picked up for distribution.

Perhaps they are a bit squeamish of the name, I dunno.

only recently did i discover mark webber, through watching the movie storytelling. scooby livingston spoke out to me, mark webber fit the role perfectly. i remember living through high school with the same exact ambitions, thoughts, way of character and etc. it was like he was my exact clone, except im a girl ofcourse. the movie was pretty much life changing, i fealt connected to the charecter in a surreal way, and i was moved enough to find out who played that charecter so succesfully and find oout more about this actor, mark webber. i wish there was some way i could just talk to him somehow. i jsut feel that we'd be on the same wavelength. i dont mean to sound like a psychotic fan or anything. its jsut that in my life ive had to deal with so many experiences that not a lot o people have had to go through, and they've all made me force to succumb to a whole different way of thinking and looking at things that not many people at all end up having. its jsut a world of happiness is bliss, and when you see it, the thing that sets you apart from it and makes you succumb to this desolute world with no connection to the reality we know ends up being the most rewarding thing. ughh, im jsut ranting. but, mark webber, if any of this means anything to you, or anything, it would make me extremely happy, if you could jsut email me back, or my aim name is goldcryptorchd.

Amazing Person and Actor (Tue Jun 10, 2003 12:30am ET)report post
by Liz
I have seen and own all of Mark's movies. He is not just an amazing actor, he is a genuine human being. I work with him, I too am a homeless rights activist. I work along side him, his mother, and many others for the Kensington Welfare Rights Union of Philadelphia. I hope many more people get the chance to meet him. He has truly changed my life in so many ways. And made me aware of the poverty in the U.S.

The only film of Mark Webber's that I have seen (yet) is SnowDay. I saw Snow Day this evening, a cute & funny movie. He's obviously a good actor. He looks so much like my boyfriend who died 3 months ago, at a younger age. I read about his activism for the homeless, and I think that's great! I think he's very cute, and I guess I'm fascinated because of the resemblance to my deceased boyfriend. Both I and my late boyfriend love Solondz' movies, by the way, so I am definitely going to see Storytelling.
