| by Nikisha Young I first saw Bokeem Woodbine in "Strapped" and was absolutely impressed with what I saw. Since then I have always kept an eye out for him. That has been difficult as he rarely gets enough screentime ("The Big Hit") and usually ends up in less than stellar material. It has been a little like a treasure hunt. Because I admire him so much I end up watching some truly awful movies ("The Breed"!!!) where his sober face is not quite right for the part. But often even though the material is bad he rises above it to make the movie enjoyable ("Sacrifice" is actually very entertaining - also has Michael Madsen). Even catching him in music videos is great - brief but rewarding. Can't wait to see "3000 Miles to Graceland"... Comment on this... |
