Mitchell Whitfield has had starring roles in a string of recent motion pictures, including Julie Davis' I Love You, Don't Touch Me, Tamra Davis' Best Men, Jonathan Lynn's My Cousin Vinny and Sgt. Bilko, Nancy Savoca's Dogfight, Barbet Schroeder's Reversal of Fortune and Ernie Mirish's Critic's Choice. On television, Whitfield appeared as a series regular on Head Over Heels, Minor Adjustments, My Kind of Town, Better Days and Diagnosis Murder. He also had a guest-starring role on Tracy Takes On and a recurring role (as Rachel's ex-fiancée, Barry) on Friends. Whitfield also portrayed Eugene in the Broadway production of Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and in the National Tour of the play's sequel, Biloxi Blues.
