| by Ms. Byrd I saw the movie "Heat Wave" and Blair Underwood was excellent and is an underated actor. He is very charismatic, intelligent and one of the most versatile actors I know. The movie focused on the watts riots and it reminded me of the riots in Detroit and my dad and all my great neighbors during the riots who were hard working people who never went to jail or committed any crimes but it was a day to release anger from poverty, unemployment and years of built up hostility. As a reporter he explained the mood of the riots well. He reported from both angles-White community and Black. Excellent movie. Blair can play a psychological killer, a handsome heartthrob, a intellectual lawyer, businessman and etc. and then a person who abuses women while cracking that handsome smile. He covers all roles very well with such class and style. Comment on this... |
