Tim Thomerson

Tim Thomerson is a U.S. actor born in Coronado, California. He is well known for his role as Jack Deth in the first five Trancers films, Trancers (1985), Trancers II (1991), Trancers III (1992), Trancers 4: Jack of Swords (1994), Trancers 5: Sudden Deth (1994). A sixth installment, Trancers 6 (2002) only featured Jack Deth in stock footage from the earlier films.

He first came to prominence in the short-lived comedy science-fiction TV series Quark in 1977-78, as Gene/Jean, a character of dual gender who randomly switched from a macho to a feminine personality.

He has appeared in many B movies. His films range from Volunteers, Cherry 2000, Near Dark, Nemesis, Nemesis III: Prey Harder, Dollman, Dollman vs Demonic Toys, and Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn.

In 1990 he starred with Mel Gibson in the adventure film Air America in which the played te character of Babo.

He has starred in the television series Sirens as Officer James Buddy Zunder in the first season of the show in 1993.

He played the villain, Hanson Dekker, in season 2 of the syndicated TV series Viper, in 1995-96.

Thomerson has made guest appearances on tv shows such as Walker, Texas Ranger, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, The District, and Silk Stalkings.

He was good friends with the late actor Brion James. They served in the Vietnam War together.
