Actor/writer/director Eugene Levy began his career on the acclaimed sketch comedy series SCTV, which he starred in and co-wrote for eight seasons portraying such memorable characters as Earl Camembert, Bobby Bithnan, Rockin' Mel Sfrrop and Stan Schmenge. He received two Emmy Awards for cowriting the series.

Levy is currently best known for his feature film work, most notably his role in American Pie, for which he won a Blockbuster Video Award; the sequel, American Pie 2, Serendipity, and Like Mike. He also co-wrote with Christopher Guest and starred in Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman. Levy's additional feature credits include Josie and the Pussycats, Multiplicity, Father of the Bride II, Speed Zone, Club Paradise, Armed and Dangerous, Splash and National Lampoon's Vacation. Levy can be seen next in A Mighty Wind (his third collaboration with Christopher Guest), Dumb and Dumberer, and American Pie 3, the latter two slated for a summer release.

Levy's television credits include Fox Television's midseason replacement, Greg the Bunny, ABC's Hiller and Diller, NBC's The Martin Short Show (director), The Family Channel feature Partners in Love (actor/director), Showtáne's I, Martin Short, Goes Hollywood (director), Billy Crystal's HBO special Don't Get Me Started and Disney's television feature Bride of Boogedy.

Levy's other hyphenated credits include the HBO special The Last Polka (actor/writer/producer), Autobiographies: The Enigma of Bobby Bithnan (actor/writer/director/producer), the series Maniac Mansion (creator/writer/director/producer), and the Showtime comedy feature Sodbusters (writer/ director/producer).
