Marc Blucas

Actor Marc Blucas has worked consistently in television and film, appearing alongside some of Hollywood's biggest stars. Known to many fans for his role opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in the hit television series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, on which he appeared for two seasons, Mark has also appeared in a range of film projects. One of his first acting roles was in Gary Ross' Pleasantville, with Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon. He followed that up with supporting roles in Summer Catch, starring Jessica Biel, Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson. Mark then went on to star opposite Katie Holmes in First Daughter, directed by Forest Whitaker.

His additional film credits include: Prey For Rock and Roll; the BBC Films' period drama I Capture The Castle with Bill Nighy and Rose Byrne, John Sayles' Sunshine State opposite Edie Falco; Starship Dave with Eddie Murphy and Elizabeth Banks; and The Killing Floor, executive produced by Doug Liman and Avi Arad. Mark played Emily Blunt's misunderstood husband in Sony Pictures Classics' The Jane Austen Book Club and most recently starred in Knight and Day opposite Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, in Kevin Smith's Red State and as Naomi Watts' love interest in Rodrigo Garcia's Mother and Child.

A native of Pennsylvania, Blucas played basketball at Wake Forest University.
