Jonathan Kaplan is an extremely talanted director. If he had continued to direct movies he most definitely would have won an oscar. His work on the television show ER is outstanding and contributes to the continued success of the show.The episodes Mr. Kaplan directs stand out from the rest. Each one captivates you and leaves you wanting more. Thanks to him I continue to be a fan of the show. He brings to many the most emotional hour on TV.

I agree. I had the privilege of spending a day on the ER
set with Mr. Kaplan watching him direct- a
very gentle gentleman and very professional>
What is he up to now?
Hopefully , he will direct movies again and get the Oscar he deserves.
