by Barachotti The best in his category (couples, love ...). Loved Lolita and Unfaithful, also liked very much Flashdance and Indecent proposal. Liked less 9 and a half weeks : too fashionable and a disappointing end. Also found Fatal attraction a bit slow. One third of the film is spent walking in, walking out, walking up and down, taking lifts and driving cars (just like in the movies of the 60's when directors could at last get out of the studios the studios). However, the end is extraordinary : a top scene in the Movie history. Comment on this...

by Robin Adrian Lyne represents to me: -steamy New York streets -expression on the faces of dogs -raw human sexuality -art -rabbits -children -stolen glances across a room -public sexuality -domination -rainy New York days -bath tubs -silohettes on a gloomy afternoon -tea kettles whistling -sensual feelings I could go on and on...but Adrian Lyne is a favorite director for me and I love the common linkage in all his movies. The photography and beautiful scenic backdrops on his films are brilliant. He portrays sexuality in almost everything that is shot. Comment on this...

by michele I think catherine zita jones has been cast simply because of her connection to michael douglas. un less she wears a blonde wig. keano reaves is to refined to be the hood that johny stompanato was. and who is playing the daughter???? Comment on this...

by michele I have loved adrian lyn's films and very interested in seeing his version of the lana turner / johny stompanato senario. i can see his casting of catherine zita jones as lana turner partly because of his contection with michael douglas, and partly because i know he goes for that type of look. i am surprised at the casting of keano reaves as johny, but it could work. we shall see! but am very interested in who is to play lana turner's daughter. I am old enough to remember this whole thing happening so i await with interest. Comment on this...

| by ivanka Hi, my name is Ivanka and I'm from Croatia. Since 13 I'm great fan of Nabokov and "Lolita". Nabokov's wife wrote me a letter and I have almost Nabokov's books. I admire Lyne since I saw "Fatal atraction", but when I saw his "Lolita" I just fell in love with him. It is great movie! Dominique, Irons and Langela are superb! I'm collecting everything I have about that movie - rare pictures, articles, video shots, etc. I saw on DVD deleted cuts - they are so wonderful that it is really pity theye are cutted from the movie. Adrian, if you ever read this, please, contact me on my mail, I really would love to know you!!! Ivanka Comment on this... | ||||

by Gerald May You are such a genius it is just mind-boggling. You're style of cinematic storytelling is light years ahead of your contemporaries. You have done so many great movies, I didn't think you could top them. But with Unfaithful you have broken the mold. Some people are just born to do certain things. Michael Jordan was born to play basketball. Adrian Lyne was born to make movies. You're one of the reasons why I want to be an erotic storyteller. I draw inspiration from your movies. You are without a doubt one of the greatest directors to ever pick up a camera. I hope you keep making films until you are 100. Good luck and keep making those movies. Comment on this...
