I just watched Pat O'Brien in Knute Rockne. This was the first time I had seen that particular movie. He did a marvelous job. When I was a little girl, my Mother took me to see the Hollywood Christmas parade along Hollywood Blvd. The guest of honor for that year was Pat O'Brien. I remember running down to the end of the parade route with my autograph book. Just as he got off the float he had been riding on, I shoved my book into his hands and got his signature. What a thrill it was for me. A great actor.
