Molly Culver

An avid golfer, motorcyclist and all-around athlete, 5-foot-11 actress/model Molly Culver has trained all her life to play the world's greatest bodyguard on V.I.P. A one-hour series blending action and humor amidst the glamour and fast-paced life of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and trendy Los Angeles.

Born and raised in the Bay Area of Northern California, Culver has an older sister and two brothers, and grew up a tomboy. Her father is a dentist and her mother a nurse. "My grandmother is a full-blooded Native American--Choctaw and Chickasaw, Culver says. My dad, who's from Oklahoma, was a jet pilot in the Navy.

Culver's life took an abrupt turn two years into college when an agent told her she should become a model. She soon found herself in Australia for six months, landing on the covers of glossy magazines. "I never went to the prom. I never got asked on a date, she says of her high school days. I was shocked to discover that when they put some make-up on me, I looked completely different."

For the next five years, she modeled in Paris and New York--high fashion, runway and print. But, feeling unfulfilled, she moved on to acting, first in television commercials.
