Larry Pine

Larry Pine hails from Midland, Texas and graduated from North Texas State University where he studied drama. He moved to New York in 1966 and completed graduate work at New York University.

Pine's extensive theater background includes 2001's The Seagull, opposite Meryl Streep and Angels in America. His other credits include Andre Gregory's Uncle Vanya, Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio and Hal Prince's The Taming of the Shrew.

Pine's film work is just as comprehensive, with roles in Jonathan Nossiter's SUNDAY, which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance in 1997; Louis Malle's VANYA ON 42ND STREET, Tim Robbins' DEAD MAN WALKING; Ang Lee's THE ICE STORM; Lasse Hallstrom's THE SHIPPING NEWS; Wes Anderson's THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS; and both SMALL TIME CROOKS and CELEBRITY for Woody Allen. He recently wrapped on THE CLEARING with Robert Redford, Willem Dafoe and Helen Mirren.

His television work includes recurring roles on HBO's Oz and ABC's All My Children. His other work includes Law & Order, One Life to Live, The Street and The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd.
