Wil Wheaton

Wil Wheaton (Bennett Hoenicker) first gained national attention when he was 12 years old starring in Rob Reiner's critically acclaimed film, Stand By Me, and for his starring role in the successful series, Star Trek: The Next Generation. After an 18-month hiatus to pursue his other passion, personal video production, Wheaton has returned to Los Angeles and has four new projects readying for release.

In early 1998, Wheaton will be seen in the TNT original film, The Day Lincoln Was Shot, opposite Lance Henrickson and Rob Morrow. He also stars in the independent film Foreign Correspondents, opposite Corin Nemic and Melanie Linskey. He just completed work on a short film Tales of Glamour and Excess, based on the life of The Doors manager Danny Sugarman, in which Wheaton portrays the title character.

Other memorable film credits include performances in Toy Soldiers, Pie in the Sky and episodes of such classic series as Showtime's The Outer Limits and HBO's Perversions of Science and Tales from the Crypt. Among his favorites, Wheaton lists his portrayal of a drag queen in the acclaimed short film Boy's Night Out written and directed by acting classmate Yule Case and the starring title role in the Sci-Fi Original film Mr. Stitch for Roger Avary.

Wheaton is an avid golfer and currently resides in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Anne, and her two children, Nolan and Ryan.
