Thuy Trang (December 14, 1973 - September 3, 2001) was a Vietnamese-American actress who played Trini Kwan, the yellow ranger, on the original cast of the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She was also in the played in the movie The Crow: City of Angels, Spy Hard, and Cyberstrike. The name Thuy is pronounced like TWO-ee.

Thuy Trang was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, and raised in the United States. Her life had a rough beginning. Her family fled from from their village near Hanoi because they were under constant harrassment by Communist forces.

In 1979, her family went on a cargo ship with other Hanoian refugees and headed to the United States. Her mother was then in poor health and had to struggle to keep her alive during the trip to the United States. Since that rough beginning, Thuy Trang grew up in a relatively normal childhood in the United States thereafter. She began to learn kung fu at the age of nine.

In the 1980, she graduated from Banning High School. She attended UC Irvine, while she also moonlighted as an actress.

Thuy Trang died in a car accident on September 3, 2001, in San Francisco, California. She was driving on Interstate Highway 5 between San Francisco and Los Angeles, California. She was hit by another car driven by another woman. The other woman driver remained unharmed, because she had on a seat belt. Thuy Trang died upon impact because she did not have her seat beat on.
