In addition to continuing his acting career, Moore has taken on the duties of roving ambassador for U.N.I.C.E.F. (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund), following in the line of such luminous predecessors as Audrey Hepburn, Sir Peter Ustinov and Danny Kaye. In this non-paying position, Moore has traveled to the far ends of the world raising funds for the organization and at the same time promoting the causes of underprivileged children.
