BEAN THERE,DONE THAT AND VERY WELL,TOO (Sun Sep 4, 2005 6:52pm ET)report post

I saw The Island recently and I couldn't believe how well Sean acted! He's still the best villain in the movieworld and the sexiest man alive! Ewan McGregor is, in my opinion, one of the best looking, most talented young actors in the world and still Sean manages to look better than him. Well done, Sean.Very well done!

Think I might be in the wrong place for this and sorry about that but I'm not quite sure where else to put this. Last Christmas Sean Bean did a programme on Radio 2 called Radio 2's Christmas Chill Out. It took the form of Sean reading letters to his missing wife and music was played between each on. The whole programme was really funny and I would love to buy it as a Christmas present for someone this year. Tried everywhere on the net and came up against brick walls. Contacted BBC who told me that due to copyright etc. it was not for sale.
Searching through the Sean Bean sites I came across this which gives clearer details. Any ideas anyone as to where I might get this. I just can't believe that it wouldnt be for sale.
RADIO 2's CHRISTMAS CHILLOUT (December 25, 2005)
Radio 2's Christmas Chillout with Sean Bean was the perfect Christmas Day
listen; a contemporary Christmas tale backed by two hours of relaxing music.
From his roles in TV's Sharpe to Lord of the Rings, Sean is one of our most
popular and celebrated actors, and on Christmas Day he read a specially
commissioned Christmas tale. A gently entertaining take on traditional
Christmas themes, the story unfolded over a two hour mix of both seasonal
and relaxing music from the likes of Eva Cassidy, Groove Armada, Dean
Martin, Damien Rice and many more. Radio 2's Christmas Chillout is the
perfect present, combining great music, an intriguing seasonal tale, and
the voice of Sean Bean.

Isn't he lovely? (Wed May 4, 2005 4:39pm ET)report post

I met Sean completely by fate. He was filming some segments of the new "Silent Hill " movie in my hometown of Brantford, Ontario, Canada. He signed the chest of my white shirt, I hugged him and told him how i think he's wonderful! He smiled warmly and thanked ME! No, thank you Sean for just being ultra sexy. I also love that accent!
He melted me in my Nikes!

More Odysseus (Tue May 18, 2004 7:21am ET)report post
by Marina Gabriel
I had been looking forward to seeing Troy because of my childhood hero,Hector. If you know anything about Greeks, you know Odysseus is the ultimate Greek:a fierce lover of women,a brave warrior,a very cunning and free-spirited man,who lived for adventure. That's the reason I hated the character;great for a movie but if you're Greek and you have to live with such men, then you're in trouble!Sean was so good at it that he made me forget he is,in fact,a Saxon. He projected all those qualities we expected to find in his character, although they don't show much of the warrior in him;Homer portrays him as ruthless killer in the battlefield and we all know it was him who thaught of and designed the Trojan Horse, which caused the fall of Troy, after an unsuccessful and bloody 10 year siege. It was a yet another excellent Sean Bean performance but,to my mind,it was too small a part.I wish there had been more of him.Well, there's the Odyssey....

Sean,Sharpe as ever (Thu May 13, 2004 7:03am ET)report post
by Marina Gabriel
I had the good fortune to meet Sean Bean when I visited England and I have one thing to say about the man:photos don't do him justice, not by a long shot! The camera must hate him, otherwise I cannot account for it:he's so unbelievably handsome and sexy in the flesh and he litterally lights up a place just by standing there! I saw him perform on the stage and he was magical! Certainly,it was his acting but it was much, much more than that.He is mesmerising;it's a personality trait.I talked to him and took his autograph and he proved to be the sweetest, politest, most gentle man in the world-well,at least in the movie bussiness. He didn't behave like a star at all:he was soft-spoken and eager to please,he blushed when the fans praised him and he admitted "he died well" when I told him I cried rivers at his death scene as Boromir.I can't wait to see him in 'Troy',as this is a greek story and I am Greek.I'm sure he'll be excellent in it,as he's been in everything else!

Manly Sean Bean (Wed Feb 25, 2004 3:22am ET)report post
by GoldenSean
After having seen many of his past British TV and Hollywood films, and most recently seen his brilliant performance as Boromir in The Lord of the Ring trilogy, I have come to fathom the magntitud of his talent and on-screen presence: the epitome of the classically trained and handsome British actor, exuding oodles and oodles of acting range, of charisma, of sensuality, of macho manliness and of loving tenderness, something that few actors can successfully project on screen.

Cheers, GoldenSean

Sean was born and raised in Sheffield and is a perfect example of the build and physiology of Saxons. He's English through and through and proud of it,too, from what I understand.
