Why John Wayne? (Thu Nov 24, 2005 11:00am ET)report post
by diabolique
Okay, what's the deal with the John Wayne movies listed under Sam Rockwell's movies??? Is Sam Rockwell Sr. in em? These two fine actors are not alphabetically close, and not even in the same century. But if Sam, Sr. is in those films, I'd check em out out of curiousity. Did anyone else think Alexandre Rockwell was Sam's FATHER? Im a ninny....

Sam, meet me for lunch! (Wed Nov 23, 2005 8:47pm ET)report post
by diabolique
Is he or is he not in Jarhead? I don't care to see it if he isn't. Sam was credited near the top in Last Exit to Brooklyn, but seems as if he got written out. Also, don't expect much Sam time in Happy Hell Night, he's on literally for one second in a photograph! You're better off with Clownhouse, what a trip seeing Sam as a teenager with a DA haircut and baseball jacket. Mercy, which I fortuitously caught on WLIR, TV 55 in NYC, is pretty good with Sam in a major role. Am ordering Strictly Business, since Sam has a named role (Gary). Has anyone ever seen the "Intolerance" episode of Law and Order? been trying to catch it. He's in the "Manhood" episode in which he plays a conflicted and ashamed characted - well done! More Sam More Sam More Sam More Sam More Sam More!

Oldman's or Depp's cuter bro? (Wed Nov 23, 2005 8:22pm ET)report post
by Annette Alberts
I recently read an old interview in which Sam was saying he could see himself playing Gary Oldman's brother, I could definitely see that, but I've often thought he looks like a handsomer Johnny Depp (more generous mouth, and much more versatile and insanely humorous) esp. when Depp dons those large teeth in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - he should leave them in! I love all the movies Sam is in as a lead: Safe Men, Confessions, Lawn Dogs, Box of Moonlight, Welcome to Colinwood (so underrated!) Who can not see his Genius in Confessions!!!!!!!!!!! Where can I get info on live perf's in NYC? caught Judas Iscariot, wish he had more lines in it, met him after a perf (Feb 13) what a sweet, unassuming man. Sam, Im so glad you live in NY. why did you choose NY over CA with it's sun and bikinis?

Why did Pero faint after he was stabbed by the small knife? He couldn't see any blood, and he was talking,so he was breathing well. He wasn't choked for a long time. He shouldn't have passed out.So wwhy did he pass out? I don't understand. If you know, please type here.Thanks.

I rented Safe Men. It's funny, so far. (Mon Nov 24, 2003 5:57pm ET)report post
by Snoochy Boochys
I watched the beginning of it and saw the scenes where the guys are trying to open the safe and call the delivery guy and order the food and then tackle him. I also saw part of the performances of Steve Zahn and Sam Rockwell. I love the song they sang about Friendship. If you saw Safe Men or part of it, please reply, thanks.

I don't know hoow good the movie will be.So far,I think it will be good. He's definitely talented and seems like a kind and friendly man. I would like to meet him someday.

I watched almost all of the dvd. I didn't see all the special features, but I will, very soon. I loved watching the Sam Rockwell screentests. Now we klnow why he was picked to play Chuck Barris. I still don't know why he chose strange and remote countries as the couples vacation trips.

I saw all of C o A D M and love it. Sam is in great health and shape too. I can't believe he ran into the background, changed clothes that fast and ran quickly into the next scene.Wow.
