I adored Margaret O'Brien. It has been very frustrating not being able to see anything in the news about her since. If she has been on interviews, I missed them. I did see her on Larry King but she didn't say much. I saw her on one with a lot of t.v. former child stars and I was frustrated that she didn't get to say much. The longer time goes the fewer remember her. She was the greatest actress in my opinion. My husband was in love with her. I wish I knew more about her. She is only one year older than me. I am still in awe of her.

Me too. I spent my youth looking for a girlfriend as sweet as Margaret. Boy, did I wind up lonesome. That standard was way too high. Now I'm an ex-Marine, and some of her film performances still crush my heart. She remains a lovely and gracious lady to this day.

I am another ex-marine named Paul, and Paul, you could have taken the words right out of my mouth. I also searched for a Margaret O'Brien and came up empty. She was as sweet as it ever got, and there will never be another.

I agree. She is very gracious from what I have seen on t.v. of her. She seems very humble.
