Bill Raymond
A New York-based character actor who has appeared in dozens of feature films and television movies and series, Bill Raymond is finding a new career as a leading man in independent films such as WHAT ALICE FOUND. He will this year be seen opposite Nicole Kidman and Stellan Skarsgaard in Lars Von Triers' DOGVILLE.
Raymond has appeared in a number of films written and directed by John Sayles including CITY OF HOPE, EIGHT MEN OUT and BABY IT'S YOU. He has worked with such veteran filmmakers as Norman Jewison (THE HURRICANE), Spike Lee (SUMMER OF SAM), Mike Figgis (LIEBESTRAUM) and Terry Gilliam (12 MONKEYS) and has appeared in films by such emerging filmmakers as Stacy Cochran (MY NEW GUN), Alex Proyas (THE CROW), Joan Chen (AUTUMN IN NEW YORK) and the late Ted Demme (THE REF).
