| by ken laval I first watched Jim as Ernest at my nephew's house - he saved Christmas and was hilarious. My daughter has Cerebral Palsy and only a few selected actors and movies make it into her TV time. And all the Ernest movies have achieved that so you can imagine how many different people he has touched. I didn't know that Jim had died until I read his bio today. But actors as famous as Jim don't really leave us. Heck, he's in my living room daily. I'll always remember this line "And bananas to bribe the monkey. It's always good to have the monkeys on your side" from Ernest goes to Africa. (Know whatta mean?) Comment on this... | ||||

| by Josh K.. i say we never forget him just like we never forget 9/11 i mean this guy is cool /alsome he did mega movies that i love we should prey and give glory to this guy just like we do to god and for everybody else that dies just talk to him like you talk to yourself ohh well if you dont want to then find dont but if you really like this guy there is still a way you can see him and just talk to him now he may not be able to talk back but he can hear you and my grandpal siad if you want to see a ghost of anything you conchintrate on that one thing and look real hard you will see somthin but in may not be in light like everbody know you cant see anything in light but may hear somthing well ive typed alot if have any /'s ask me or qrite somthing on the board and ill anser back or e-mail me what ever you want josh k...florida Comment on this... |

| by Josh this guy is so alsome i love ERNEST SCARED STUPID thats my most favorite movie i miss him so much i never met the guy but if i could i want to tell him he should run for president of (USA)he just looks so harmless and is funny its just ifr i die then i guess ill tell him in heaven where he belongs i guess it was just his time to go  i just have a strong heart to people i like and i cant help myself i feel like crying but i cant ive always thought about him and wish i could see his ghost or spirt well thank you for reading my thoughts Comment on this... |

| by j.d. Jim Varney was one of the cleanest, funniest, most lovable of all modern comics. He seemed to have such kind eyes, and a gentle face. I have a feeling he was a very good person to know. | by Avni Ernest is my hero. My walls are covered with his pictures and I dream about him every night and day. I wish he was still alive so I could tell him how much I loved him. I had lots of good ideas for Ernest films but I guess now it doesn't matter. My favourite Ernest film was Ernest Scared Stupid. I will miss him. Comment on this... |
