Wendell was very comical in "Waiting To Exhale". The scene where he is trying to impress Lela Rachon in bed to no avail is hysterical. That's because Wendell played it like so many Buppie types out there. Thinks he's got it going on but actually is a "Corporate Corny" kind of fellow. This is one gifted brother who can not only do film, but theatre and television. He was quite good also in Spike Lee's "Get On The Bus", as well as "Malcolm X".

On IFC, see Wendell in a short film called "The Date". VERY funny. I wish him the best.
