Biography #2 (for Timeline)

Displaying astonishing versatility with a wide range of roles in film, television and theatre, Neal McDonough is taking his place among a select group of actors who combine a leading man's profile with a character actor's art of performance.

McDonough recently completed filming the feature film remake of Walking Tall opposite Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

He currently co-stars in the critically acclaimed television show Boomtown, as District Attorney David McNorris, opposite Donnie Wahlberg and Mykelti Williamson.

Last summer, he co-starred in Steven Spielberg's highly acclaimed Minority Report, opposite Tom Cruise. McDonough also recently appeared in Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks' Golden Globe and Emmy winning-miniseries, Band of Brothers.

McDonough's other film credits include Antonia Bird's Ravenous with Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle, Jonathan Frakes' Star Trek: First Contact with Patrick Stewart, Alfre Woodard and James Cromwell and Jeff Hare's A Perfect Little Man, for which he earned the Best Actor Award at the 2000 Atlantic City Film Festival.

On the small screen, he starred in Arthur Allan Seidelman's Grace and Glorie opposite Diane Lane. On stage, McDonough received a Dramalogue Best Actor award for his work in Jim Sheridan's Always Alone.

McDonough earned a B.F.A. from Syracuse University, and has trained at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts and Sciences. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
