Rispoli has played memorable parts in many feature films, including Death to Smoochy, directed by Danny Devito, Spike Lee's Summer of Sam, Rounders, directed by John Dahl, and Snake Eyes, directed by Brian De Palma. He'll next be seen in The Weather Man with Nicolas Cage and Michael Caine. Rispoli also played the lead role in Two Family House, which won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award in 2000. His other feature credits include Scared City, Volcano, To Die For, Feeling Minnesota, While You Were Sleeping, The Juror, and One Tough Cop.Rispoli has also starred in numerous television series including the first season of The Sopranos, and shows such as The Beat, The Great Defender, The Larsens of Las Vegas, My Guys, Billy Club and Bram and Alice. Rispoli has had recurring roles in NBC's Third Watch, and CBS's Touched by an Angel. He has also appeared as a guest lead in both E.R., and Law & Order.
Rispoli launched his acting career in New York at the famed Circle in the Square Theater. His stage credits include such productions as Judgment Day, Twelfth Night, The Balcony, Wilder, Wilder, Wilder, 3 by Thornton, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Little Blood Brothers and a star turn in this summer's Magic Hands Freddy opposite Ralph Macchio at the Soho Playhouse in New York City. He was born and raised in Rockland County, New York and currently resides in Orange County, New York.

From Shakespeare to The Sopranos, Michael Rispoli has and extensive list of acting credits that encompasses film, television and theatre. Most recently, Rispoli starred in the feature film Two Family House, which won the Audience Award at The Sundance Film Festival in 2000 and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in 2001. Other film credits include Spike Lee's Summer of Sam, Rounders, The Third Miracle and While You Were Sleeping. Rispoli started the Willow Cabin Theatre Company, which produced Wilder, Wilder, Wilder at Circle in the Square, 3 by Thornton and Balm in Gilead. Rispoli starred in the Fox Series The Great Defender and has recurring roles on The Sopranos and Third Watch.
