Byron Mann
Byron Mann began to pursue his passion for the dramatic arts by writing and acting in high-school and community theatre while growing up in Hong Kong.
Moving to Los Angeles to study philosophy in college, Mann inadvertently rekindled his interest in acting while seeing films at theatres in Westwood Village, a college town adjacent to UCLA. He attended law school later but realized that the legal profession was not right for him.
While soul-searching in Hong Kong, he landed a role in the NBC television film The Last Flight Out with Richard Crenna. On completing the film Mann return to Los Angeles, continued his law classes, got an agent and studied acting on the side. After passing the California bar, Mann won the lead role in Streetfighter and his acting career began in earnest. His other film credits include Red Corner, Double Edge, Crying Freeman and Deadly Target.
