Dougray Scott's most recent credits include Ever After: A Cinderella Story opposite Drew Barrymore, The Proposal, This Year's Love and Bill Forsyth's Gregory's Two Girls. Other feature film credits include the box-office sensation Deep Impact, Regeneration, Twin Town, Love in Paris and Princess Caraboo. He will next star opposite Kate Winslet and Saffron Burrows in the independent film Enigma, directed by Michael Apted based on the novel by Robert Harris.
Scott's television credits include his role in Robert Halmi's epic miniseries Arabian Nights, his breakthrough role in the British series Soldier Soldier as well as Weak and Wide Astray, Taggatt: Nest of Vipers, Lovejoy, Harry Enfield Show, Tell Tale Hearts, Stay Lucky, Kavanagh, QC, The Rover, The Place of the Dead, Highlander and The Crow Road. He has also appeared in numerous stage productions, including Wallace, Welcome Home, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Power and the Glory and "Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love," which was directed by Ian Brown at the Hampstead Theatre.
Scott trained at the Welsh College of Music and Drama and began his acting career working in regional theater and on television.
