Harry T. Moore in Florida! (Wed Jul 11, 2007 12:28pm ET)report post
by Cedric Nixon
Mr. Cheadle,
My name is Cedric Nixon and I am contacting you to first commend you for your exemplary work not only on film as a true example of humanitarianism is all about! Being a native Floridian, I commend you for your superb performance in the movie "Rosewood", which was truly enlightening since my mother's family resided no more than 30 miles from where it all happened in 1923!
As well, I am contacting you to see if your production company might be interested in the story and portrayal of the first Civil Rights Martyrs of the modern Civil Rights Movement Harry T. & Harriette V. Moore. Presently I am the acting vice-president of the Harry T. & Harriette V. Moore Cultural Complex in Mims, Florida near Cape Canaveral! Our website is harryharriettemoore.org and we welcome any inquiry you may have.
Again I thank you for your time and consideration, and just know the spirit you exude about Dafur as well as the human condition in general is the stuff Harry Moore and others like him stood for and make so proud today! This role is for you if it were to become a reality! God Bless and Keep You!

Sincerely Yours,

Cedric Nixon

His supporting role in the film was just outstanding. Maturely underplayed, he was believable in a way that "makes" a movie work. Well done sir.

The first time I remember seeing Don was in a movie where he was a very gifted basketball player in school before he became a used up heroin user. His character name was "Goat" WHERE CAN I GET IT?

yes, Don Cheadle was on SNL... if you go to imdb.com and type in his name, all of his shows and movies will appear.

Saturday Night Live is no where to be found on his IMDB page. Everyone assumes he was because of Tim Meadows.

I could have sworn that he was on SNL, also. But I've checked the imdb site and can't find any mention of it.

by Alex Jones
Mr. Cheadle:

Thank you for all of your insights about Africa -- Rwanda and the refugee camps. I would like to travel to Africa to volunteer in helping in some capacity for about half a year. Have you any suggestions about international or non-profit agencies that could help me to connect with volunteer service? Thanks.

If you have never listened to a book on CD, get "Fear Itself" by Walter Mosley, read by Don Cheadle; Don Cheadle needs to buy the rights and star in the movie for this book--he is Paris Minton! Wonderful
