| by Andy Thompson I just saw him in an old Bonanze show . I have always been impressed on his acting ability. I have always thought he should have been recognized for that ability and starred as the lead actor instead of a supporting role. He is often much better than the star of the movie. I hope he can continue in the movie industry into old age. They need him. Comment on this... |

| by Joann I have high regard for Mr. Stockwell's acting abilities. I have seen him for years in many roles and he always does an excellent job no matter what the role. I don't think he gets enough credit for his roles. His versatility is astounding...I have seen him play a miriad or character types and he has been excellent in all of them. He's not seen plastered all over the tabloids for outrageous behavior and seems to continue to get roles in really big movies and TV shows. While I don't know alot about his personal life, if he is into anything "kinky", at least he keeps it private and continues to be just a really good actor, earning what is probably a very good living, entertaining the people who pay to see the films. It really irks me to see someone who has great acting abilities and then read about their sordid lifestyle in the papers. I applaud Dean Stockwell for being an accomplished actor without having his picture and personal life plastered all over the news for all to see. His acting and not notoriety are what have gotten him his success. Comment on this... |
