Rupert Penry-Jones
The London-born Rupert Penry-Jones received both critical praise and the Sunday Times/Royal National Theatre Ian Charleson Award for his portrayal of the title role in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Friedrich Schiller's Don Carlos. Rupert's other stage work includes Timon of Athens, The Play About the Baby and Chips With Everything.
Television roles have included a leading role in the popular drama series North Square and the title role in the BBC1 drama The Student Prince. Penry-Jones has appeared on-screen in the films Hilary and Jackie alongside Oscar nominees Emily Watson and Rachel Griffiths, Still Crazy, Brian Gibson's comedy with Billy Connolly and Bill Nighy, and will next be seen in Shekar Kapur's Four Feathers, starring alongside Heath Ledger, Wes Bentley and Kate Hudson.
