| by Ernest Chump I just watched "Happiness" on TV here In London and was totally captivated by Cynthia. Although critically acclaimed, I didn't think the film contributed anything to life. It was a faithful record of the lives of a disparate bunch of people, but no more than that. The point was I just wanted to see more of Cynthia, so I watched the film to the end. She has a mesmerising screen appeal. just a lovely person. I am literally enchanted. It's funny how the film industry sweats to create must-see movies, and yet a single actor just by their own sweet self can build that emotional bond with a viewer that lasts long after the movie has been forgotten Comment on this... |

| by Rick Bee I have just discovered Cynthia Stevenson and really like her acting and her role in Dead Like Me. Does anybody know what her role was in the 12-part HBO series "From the Earth to the Moon"? I watched that series and just cant place where she appeared. Thanx Rick Comment on this... | ||||

| by Jack ...and admirer of Ms. Stevenson, since her astounding breakthrough performance in "The Player" back in 1992. I awaited "Dead Like Me" with great anticipation when I heard that she was in it. I enjoy her work so much, and have long held that she has never been challenged to her limits as an actress, and has been relegated to typecasting. Witness the ongoing "Air Bud" franchise. "Happiness" was a refreshing change, but I'd love to see her do something besides play some teenager's mom. That said, there's noone who can do it quite like her. Cheers for Cynthia. Keep up the good work. Comment on this... |
