| by Debra Hill Edwards David Rasche, I am looking for your sister, Barbara. I had her as my 5th and 6th grade teacher at Glidden School in Dekalb, Illinois in 1962 and 1963. Where/how can I contact her. She was my favorite teacher and I want her to know that I became a teacher because of her. I have been teaching art and gifted students for the past 30 years. Please forward this e-mail to her. Thank you. Debra Hill Edwards Comment on this... |

| by cats eyes I think that sledge hammer is halarious. i love it. It has me in stiches. i think that it is brill, a masterpiece in its own right. i don't think that you can beat the 1980s for comedy that was its era. I love comedy and I get vey depressed because there isn't anything out there that genuinly makes me laugh. I find that most comedies are too over the top or too far fetched, and pathetic to laugh at, but sledge hammer is so light hearted I find it cute. i just wish that more tv was as innocent as that. i really liked the physical theatre involved, clowning and slap stick. it would be very interesting to see it adapted for the stage. i cant wait to get series 2 but it ain't out in England until July 6th 20005 It will make my day. it would be grat if you could make anouther serious or film. same cast of course or it would be the same. | by amy David Rasche... what a great actor! Great at physical comedy, too. I haven't seen Sledge Hammer since I was a kid; I forgot how hillarious it is (just got the DVD). It's a shame he's not in more movies, with leading parts; he's great in anything I've seen. Well, I also think it's time for Sledge to be on the big screen, as long as David plays THE MAN (along with Ann-Marie & Harrison Page)! We're ready for Hammer to get back into action! | by MICHAEL RUMNEY David Rasche is a great actor in my opinion, whether he is a character actor or the star of the movie he has yet to be out-staged. The starring role as Inspector Sledge Hammer in the excellent 1986-1988 TV show is his all-time-best, but he was also great as the villain in the Tom Selleck movie "An Innocent Man". Other great performance include "masters of Menace" in 1990, "Silhouette" a TV movie from 1991 and "The Big Tease" from 1999. I'd love to see David reprise his Sledge Hammer role again, either in a new TV series or a movie version. Come on Hollywood, make it happen-please. Comment on this... |
