I was a young kid at the time the rifleman was on tv. He was a real tough guy but at the same time showed a lot of feeling expecially towards his son, I guess since his wife had died he was trying to be both a mother and a father to him.

I saw him here in california at the gun show, actually I heard his voice behind me and immediately knew who it was without having to turn around to look.

There are no role models on tv today like him...a very strong man that would protect his friends and stand up for what was right.

we have enjoyed Chuck Connors in his various movies.
He had an edgyness about him that was always something we were attracted to.

Sorry to hear he died of such a terrible disease...

HE WAS GREAT...WE MISS HIM!
