| by Scot I think Jimmy's a great guy and a cracking actor. Those last scenes in Cold Feet show you'll never see a better actor than Jimmy. I cried rivulets on the flight back from Barcelona watching Rachel's death show - and the scene at the funeral where he says he can still see her and those who can't only need to look at their young son Matt to remember her is very moving. But the scene that had my brother David and I sobbing our hearts out is the one where young Matt starts crawling and Adam finally seems to accept that Rachel's dead and he begins to cry as young Matt crawls. A gut - wrenching scene and a cracking performance from Jimmy. Another deeply moving scene is the one at Portmerion where the gang have gone on the seashore to scatter Rachel's ashes and Adam tearfully says he doesn't want to say goodbye to her - but he has to - because she's gone. Turning towards the sea, he tearfully says he loves her more than she'll ever know before he finally lets her ashes float in the sea. But the scene I was desperately moved by was the one in the penultimate show where she's had the car crash and Adam sits beside her and begins stroking her hair. As he says", I've still got you, haven't I, Rach? You're still here with me and Matt.", a tear begins to slip down his cheek - and I can freely admit - I was sobbing as well at the poignancy of that brilliant acting by the master - our Jimmy.
