I only saw one other episode of The District previous to this one about AIDS. I liked it and thought I would watch the show again until I saw the episode about AIDS.

The first thing that absolutely turns me off about a show is when they start editorializing.
They did this in this episode. They criticized this administration as not doing enough, so I thought here we go again, another show having to make a political statement. Now I won't watch The District anymore. When will Hollywood learn the rest of the world doesn't want to hear about their political views.

The Film Bug bio seems to list Craig T. Nelson's birth name as Litton Mandrake. That was the character he played in The Skulls (2000, Universal).
